The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16 GB, 4070 Ti SUPER 16 GB, and 4070 SUPER 12 GB are the latest additions to NVIDIA’s high-performance graphics card lineup. These models are rumored to be custom models from MSI and Gigabyte, two of the leading manufacturers in the graphics card industry.
Although the existence of Founders Edition models for the trio of NVIDIA RTX 40 SUPER graphics cards remains uncertain, it’s now clear that Add-In Board (AIB) partners are diligently developing their unique designs for these GPUs. These custom designs will be a key feature of these upcoming graphics cards.
Beginning with Gigabyte, the company has divided its lineup into several models: AORUS Master, AERO, Gaming, Eagle, Windforce 3X, and Windforce 2X. Here’s a comprehensive list of the cards we can anticipate from this Add-In Board partner:
Gigabyte is set to release no less than 11 models of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16 GB graphics card. These models are expected to mirror the RTX 4080 SUPER range with a triple-fan design as a standard feature. Interestingly, an ICE variant is also anticipated, which could potentially sport a white color scheme.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER 12 GB graphics cards boast the broadest range of custom designs, with a total of 16 models. Besides the standard triple-fan designs, the 4070 SUPER will also be equipped with dual-fan Windforce coolers, making it an excellent choice for compact PC builds.
The model numbers for the TUF Gaming versions are expected to be:
Transitioning to MSI’s graphics cards, the leaks encompass all three NVIDIA RTX 40 SUPER models and are derived from retailer listings. The Add-In Board partner is gearing up to release these cards in SUPRIM, Gaming, and Ventus editions.
For the premium RTX 4080 SUPER models, we can anticipate the SUPRIM X, Gaming X, and Ventus 3X variants. A noteworthy detail is that all Gaming X designs in the SUPER series are expected to transition to the newly launched “SLIM” variant, which features a compact cooling design and is also available in white.
Retailers have already posted prices, but these are based on initial listings and may not be final. Therefore, they’re not particularly noteworthy as they could alter when the final Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices (MSRPs) are declared. The GeForce RTX 40 SUPER graphics cards are anticipated to make their debut at NVIDIA’s CES 2024 Special Address on January 8th, with availability expected later in the month.
